What is your relationship to your life story?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 17, 2007:
Once upon a time. . . . . .
I believed that others wrote, directed and accepted the credits for my story. I was lucky if I got a walk on, certainly not a front row seat in audience, and definitely not important enough to aspire to stand center stage. In short, I believed that I was a second rate character in a barely-B movie, and that I'd need to mind the role I had to even stay on the stage!. Today, I can look at all of that and accept that my early victimization was followed by an Academy Award winning victimhood, complete with guilt trip to Blame Land and musical score by the Poor Pitiful Mes! My life today is beautiful, and all mine. Well, not mine in the "I did it all by myself" way, but not borne of others' expectations or limitations, and not small and miserly, either. I live abundantly, with great joy and exuberance. I am responsible for the dance I sing, and for the melody I paint. I co-create with very important spirits, some two-legged, some four-legged, some winged in a myriad of ways, and some awaiting their cue for introduction. My relationship with my life is one of Love, and healing, and self discovery in an atmoshere of mutual support and growth.
